Ella Mitchell is a communications producer, writer, and photographer with a background in film, TV, and screen storytelling.
She advises and leads brand campaigns for cultural and purpose-driven institutions, bringing together digital-first thinking, place-based communication, and collaboration with creative partners, cultural ambassadors, academics, and subject matter experts to develop ideas and amplify impact.
Her work spans projects of all scales and has received recognition from the Melbourne Design Awards, Red Zed (Meet the Makers), and the Design Institute of Australia, including the 2021 DIA National Design Award for the Interact category with Monash University’s XYX Lab.
Ella’s writing and photography have been published in anthologies, academic books, national newspapers, and magazines, and collected by the National Library of Australia. Having lived and worked in Mparntew/Alice Springs, China, and Japan, she brings both a local and global perspective to culturally intelligent storytelling and communication design.
